The Return with the Elixir – The hero brings their newfound wisdom back to the world.

Where is the Magician in this journey?

The Magician stands between step 4, meeting the mentor, and step 5, crossing the threshold. It is the point where the hero has decided to move forward, but now receives or recognizes the tools that will allow them to do so effectively.

If the Fool represents the leap of faith, the Magician is the moment of acting with purpose, channeling what has been learned into creation.

Many people believe they need something more before they can begin, but the Magician reminds us that the essentials are already available. He pushes us to see the potential in what we have now and to act with strategy and direction.
